People see the sun shining on a mesmerizing clear blue sky and they always smile. They smile and sometimes they cover their eyes but allow it’s rays to touch their skin. People admire and worship the sun, this big and shiny star which gives light and life to all creatures on the earth. In their minds they see the sun like this beautiful and powerful god taking care of all the life on this small planet.
But what if the sun was a person? What king of person would he be? Would he be blonde with blue eyes and soothing voice and warm touch? Would his soul be good and beautiful and warm? Most probably, you might say. Well, I think the sun would be a sad and lonely person. He would be extremely beautiful and powerful, he would be this perfect thing forever alone above a world of which he can not be a part of.
We think the sun shines and it’s shine brings us joy and happiness, it’s warmth gives us comfort. But the sun also burns, it burns because of the frustration of being alone in the world, it burns because it’s consuming pain and sadness. Maybe it is not alone, but it might as well be as it is trapped above a strange little world forever.
This is how I feel most of the times, people think I’m shining when in fact I’m burning. I’m burning inside consumed by my own state of being , dieing slowly.
